Get to Know Me

Originating from Narberth, Pennsylvania, Ben Hearn has been catering to the Lower Merion region ever since his real estate career began.

Among the many pleasures of living in the area, Ben favors the copious dining and entertainment options available in each town, from Narberth to Ardmore. He cites the many benefits of suburban life as another excellent attribute of the region—big yards, beautiful homes, friendly neighbors, and the close proximity to the heart of the city are all details Ben highlights when showcasing homes to prospective clients.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Pennsylvania State University, Ben spent multiple years teaching English in South Korea before beginning his real estate career. Wanting to put down roots in his home community, Ben decided to return to the states. Real estate became the opportune vehicle for him to find stability while continuing to assist and teach people; he values the lives he touches through educating them about the home buying journey.

One thing Ben values most about his career is easing what can be an anxiety-inducing transaction for some. Described as responsive, insightful, and caring, Ben works hand-in-hand with his clients to help alleviate their stress and guide them through what can be a nerve-wracking and challenging process.

Ben has worked with a wide variety of clients, including senior sellers, people looking to downsize, those looking for their dream homes, and even first-time home buyers. His work ethic and expertise have earned him wide acclaim, with premier real estate website Inman even prominently featuring him.

While his competitors may not take the time to break down the complexities of real estate jargon, Ben focuses on ensuring his clients understand everything in easily accessible terms and ideas. Supplementing the skills he picked up while teaching alongside his real estate technique, Ben takes each client step-by-step through the process so they can proceed with confidence.

Ben's altruism extends outside of his office into his many varied philanthropic efforts. He was a Rotary member at the Bala Cynwyd/Narberth chapter and has volunteered at the Narberth Community Food Bank. In the past, Ben has assisted the Cradles to Crayons program by aiding in the assembly of more than 30,000 backpacks for underprivileged students throughout Philadelphia. He has also taken part in walks supporting Juvenile Diabetes Research, in addition to making annual donations.

When he isn't working, Ben can often be spotted lifting weights at the nearest gym or curling up with a good book.
